  • Online: You can purchase tickets online via Washington State Department of Transportation's Wave2Go website via credit card.

Summer Season Ticket Price Surcharge

Applicable to fares for regularly priced Vehicle & Driver fares only, during the summer season (May 1st to September 30th) ticket prices for the Edmonds Ferry will include a peak season surcharge. This surcharge will be reflected in the prices noted in the table above during the applicable time period.

Multi-ride Commuter Cards (valid for ten round trip rides) are available for $82.05, and a commuter Monthly Pass (valid for 31 round trips) is available for $131.30.

Similarly, multi-trip Vehicle & Driver cards (valid for 20 rides) are available starting at $233.55

Pre-Purchases & Reservations

The Edmonds Ferry route does not accept Vehicle & Driver ticket reservations (see note below on ferry capacities). While not a reservation, you may still pre-purchase your tickets up to 90 days in advance.

Ferry Capacity Limits

The Edmonds Ferry vessels have limited capacities for vehicles of only 188 spaces (M/V Spokane) and 202 spaces (M/V Puyallup). Accordingly, if you are planning to drive your vehicle aboard the ferry, please note the boat can fill quickly, especially for the busiest departure times. Purchasing your tickets in advance will save you time going through the toll booth, but does not guarantee you a spot on the boat as the ferries are loaded on a first-come, first serve basis. You are advised to please arrive well in advance of your scheduled departure time. With a passenger capacity of 2,000 - if you are just walking-on to the boat, there should be no need to worry.
